USB sticks and player

Each week listeners receive an audio recording of local news taken from the ch week listeners receive an audio recording of local news taken from the Plymouth Herald, The Tavistock, Okehampton and East Cornwall Times, and the Western Morning News. Recordings are made on a USB memory stick and are sent by post in a yellow plastic envelope, arriving each Saturday.

New listeners who do not have equipment to play the USB memory stick will be supplied with a specially designed player, and shown how to use it by one of our volunteers. Listeners are asked to return the memory stick to the Studio (reverse the address card on the front of the plastic envelope and put in the post – no stamp required!) on Tuesday or Wednesday each week, in time for the memory stick to be used for the following week’s edition.

In addition to the weekly recording, each month listeners will receive a separate memory stick containing an audio news and information magazine called the LINK magazine, which should be returned to the studio in the plastic envelope after two or three weeks.
